Mongoose successfully completes the first phase of a major search development programme at The Financial Times, integrating RSS feeds, blog, video and podcast content into a unified search on the FT.com portal.

In just 8 weeks, Mongoose successfully completes a prototype of HealthView®, an entirely new Search-based Application designed for NHS Trusts, providing clinicians and hospital staff with a user-friendly, near real-time, single portal view of information from different hospital systems and data repositories.

Mongoose is awarded a Framework Agreement by Buying Solutions for Digital Continuity, for the provision of Data Quality Solutions across the public sector.

Gartner white paper uses the NHS Evidence project as a global best practice case study for implementing Enterprise Search.

Mongoose is selected to implement Microsoft FAST for NHS Direct, as part of a major 4-year operational improvement plan.

Mongoose becomes an ISYS Search Software technology partner.

2009

Mongoose launches two specialist software products for the Microsoft FAST Platform that enable organisations to maximise the value from their FAST platform and data – Boomerang MIS® uses complex data warehousing techniques to provide detailed reporting and analytics on the use of an organisation’s FAST search engine. RefineX refines content being crawled by the FAST Enterprise Crawler, providing a greatly-enhanced search experience for the user.

Mongoose becomes an Exalead technology partner.

Mongoose successfully completes the implementation of the online search portal for the National Institute for Clinical Excellence – NHS Evidence (www.evidence.nhs.uk), on-time and on-budget, using Microsoft FAST ESP.

Mongoose becomes a Microsoft-certified FAST Implementation partner.

Mongoose is established by the senior team at the Financial Times responsible for Enterprise Search for www.ft.com, as an independent consultancy specialising in the implementation and delivery of complex IT projects focused on Enterprise Search, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.
