Matthew joined Mongoose in October 2008 as Managing Director. He has significant Enterprise IT sales and management experience with over 16 years in global account management and new business sales management, working for companies such as Gartner, MicroCompass Systems and Maturity GmbH. Matthew brings a wealth of market experience and enthusiasm to Mongoose.

Simon Fairey
Chief Technical Officer
Simon has over 15 years' experience in IT, including technical and architecture lead roles, offshore development resourcing and overall senior IT management. He specialises in high level technical architecture, with a specific focus on search projects and has an enviable knowledge of search concepts, strategies and methodologies. Before joining Mongoose in 2008, Simon was a lead architect and technical manager for the Financial Times in both customer and corporate aspects of FT.com. There he was responsible for overhauling FT.com’s Search, leading to a five-fold increase in traffic from improved functionality and site performance.

Daniel Garner
Product Director
Daniel is a co-founder of Mongoose. He has over 14 years' experience in the private and public sectors and his skills include Data Warehousing, Intranet / Extranet solutions with Microsoft SharePoint and the design of Search applications using FAST and other technologies. Prior to Mongoose, Daniel acted as Database Architect for Atrium Underwriters Ltd, part of Lloyd’s of London, where as well as being the technical lead for the development of the reporting strategy, he successfully delivered their enterprise data warehouse solution. He also worked with Atrium to design and implement their Intranet / Extranet using SharePoint.

Robin Davidson
Operations Director
Robin is a co-founder of Mongoose. He is a highly-experienced technical lead with knowledge of large scale integration and development projects, across both UNIX and Microsoft platforms. He has specialist knowledge of search architecture having worked on FT.com's search implementation using FAST - and previously Verity - and continues to maintain up-to-the-minute knowledge of the FAST product suite and also other leading commercial and open source search technologies. Robin has expert knowledge of web infrastructure, recently working on the optimisation of one of Europe’s leading new websites plus major Search projects within the UK Healthcare sector.
